Buying SWFL Real Estate, From Your Couch

If that statement doesn’t shout “Welcome to 2020”, we’re not sure what does. But the virtual world is our current reality, and so we must adapt. For our boutique real estate brokerage, it hasn’t been a major upset in how we operate, since most of our agents and team members are familiar with working remotely.

Obviously, we are not able to conduct in-person showings, open houses, or other face-to-face consultations and interactions with our clients, which we thoroughly miss. But, we have been able to utilize the helpful resources on our website, coupled with video chat technology, which has allowed us to remain in contact with those interested in buying or selling property here in Southwest Florida.

New! Schedule a Property Video Tour

That’s right, we have adjusted our regular “schedule a showing” feature on our website to now include an option to schedule a video chat tour instead. How do you do this?

Simply visit the property you’d like to see, scroll down past the photos section, and on the right-hand side of the window, you’ll see the option to schedule a tour.

Toggle over to "video chat tour," fill out the information and submit. This will notify our team of your interest, and allow us to reach out and schedule a good time to do the video tour. At the time of the tour, one of our agents will visit the property and video call you so that you can walk through the home and ask questions just as you would do in person.

We think it's pretty neat! Click here to visit one of our newly listed properties, and see the scheduling option for yourself.

How’s the Market?

That’s the million-dollar question. While we’re sure that this global pandemic will have an effect on most industries, we’re not yet certain how it’s going to affect the national real estate market, let alone our local Southwest Florida market. One thing we can do is keep an eye on the statistics that are available to us, such as the total number of homes on the market, the number of new listings today, the number of sold listings, etc.

You can find this and other statistical market information on our home page under the title, “Southwest Florida Market at a Glance.” Click here to visit our homepage.
