SWFL Sales By City

Whether you’re looking at SWFL real estate for the first time, or have been watching the market for years, one of the best ways to get a feel for the market is to look at past sales.

“What are things selling for?”

That’s a common question we get from clients who are looking at SWFL real estate. The honest, somewhat sarcastic answer would be “anything and everything!” Really, in any given city you could find homes for $10k to $2M and everywhere in between.

But nobody likes a smarty-pants. So instead, we break out the graph of which specific area the client is interested in, starting with the city and diving deeper into each community as we go along. The graph we use shows how many homes sold in each price range over the past 12 months, and it provides a good look at the overall market.

Of course, the graphs look different for each city and an even great difference per community. But, to give you an overview - here’s a look at the number of residential homes that sold in the past 12 months for a handful of cities we service in SWFL.

What Have We Learned?

Not only does this give you a good idea of what price range the most homes are selling per community, but also the number of homes selling in those price ranges. The larger cities such as Naples and Fort Myers will have the greatest variance in price range, since the area contains some waterfront properties, and also properties that are further inland. Still, this should provide a good general answer the question “What are things going for around here?”
