More About Estero

Preserved Nature

First stop is the Koreshan State Park, because there’s no better way to start your day than with a peaceful walk along preserved nature paths that resemble Old Florida. Bring your camera and capture the beauty of the State Park, filled with lush greenery, native vegetation and 11 restored historic settlements of the Koreshans religious sect.

Classic Country Clubs

After your brief step back in time, let’s continue the day with brunch at the country club. There are several to choose from in Estero, and even more in the surrounding areas of Bonita Springs and Fort Myers. You could spend all day enjoying the amenities, including top-notch golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools, clubhouses, boardrooms, restaurants, spas and more.

Shopping Spree

Now that brunch is taken care of, we’re all fueled up for a day of shopping at Coconut Point! This Estero staple is a large outdoor shopping mall featuring nearly 130 shops and businesses. The beloved Apple Store is found in Coconut Point, along with other favorites such as Barnes & Noble, Ethan Allen and of course, Target. Coconut Point is also home to a number of great restaurants, including Ruth Chris Steakhouse and Brazilian Steakhouse Rodizio Grill.

Eateries Galore

You won’t go hungry in Estero, that’s for sure. Coconut Point has a mixture of fine-dinning, fast-casual, sports bars, and fast food. Did we mention there’s a college nearby?? Florida Gulf Coast University is across the line of Fort Myers and Estero, which, of course, equals a plethora of college town eateries to choose from.
